Authorized Gas Tester

A group of people who prepare for and respond to any emergency occurrence is known as an Emergency Response Team (ERT). Fires, explosions, the discharge of potentially dangerous chemicals, falls from great heights, accidents in tight spaces, terrorism, and other natural and unnatural disasters are examples. Through an overview of the needs for emergency preparedness, the ERT imparts information and awareness while fostering experience. ERT will identify efficient evacuation methods and guarantee that sufficient control measures are in place. Additionally, the team aids firms in upholding their legal responsibilities and complying with ISO 45001:2018's operational control criteria.

Target group

This programme is designed to meet the initial onshore training and knowledge assessment requirements for personnel preparing to work as Authorised Gas Tester training and is required for those involved with testing for flammable gas in preparation for hot work.

Objective

The aim and objectives of the AGT training programme is to ensure that personnel preparing for a gas tester role are equipped with the knowledge to safely conduct tests for flammable gases in preparation hot work in the workplace.
